A new haircut and a PERFECT day!

Not that you can tell because in this picture he's already smeared lunch through it, but we got a big boy hair cut today at Kid's Hair again.

And then it was out to the backyard! We played for awhile on the swingset and then it was time for lunch. Could there be anything better than sitting on the back porch eating blueberries with this little guy on a beautiful, sunny, 70 degree day?

I think not. :)
Love to all!

A very silly little boy!

Every day, this little dude makes me laugh. I was cleaning up after dinner one day and Charlie stole my oven mitts to wear around the house.
He's very domestic. :)

The swing set is still a big hit! His little friend, Eli Fladung, loves swinging with him, too.
I love the enthusiasm you see with the big smile for Charlie and Eli leaning way back in anticipation of the next swing.

But this video made me laugh harder than anything ... this boy can (and does) turn every possible moment into a game. He gets this glint in his eye that he has something up his sleeve, and this time, he quite literally did!

Finally, I wanted to share these two pics. Some of you will remember that at the very beginning, Charlie hated being put down, and the only thing he'd relax in was his Tonka truck...

Now, he has so much fun actually playing with the truck, and everytime he plays with it, it reminds me how much he's grown! I can't believe it's the same truck, and I can't believe it's the same boy!!
In this particular picture, he's about to dump himself, which is pretty funny as well.

That's all I have this time for the Charles Monster. Mama had an appt this week and everything is looking great for #2. We had an ultrasound to confirm the due date (and just so we could see that there is, indeed, only 1 little munchkin in there!!), and we're right on track with the beginning of December. Preliminary peeks also have left us guessing that we're having a girl, too, but it's a little early to tell, so we'll see!!
Blessings to all!
